This is the REAL Jeff Simonds from the Green Mountain Mashers. The email that was sent to and shared with your club is fake. The Greg Noonan Competition is absolutely accepting entries from Canada and we would love for you to participate in our event this year!
Unfortunately, we believe that a former member of the club has been spreading misinformation about our club and competition. Thanks Jeff…. I thought that first email was bogus; at least, the excuses for not accepting MontreAlers’ entries were somewhat dubious.
@President would you be able to send the email you received about our competition to mashers.treasurer@gmail.com and greenmountainmashers@gmail.com?
It was forwarded from our President who received it, so probably best for him to send it to you.

Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’un ancien membre d’un club fait des conneries du genre. On verra à quoi ça va finir.
Maintenant que nous savons que ce e-mail est frauduleux, je vais vérouiller cette discussion.
