I had a similar notice last year. Someone representing the city came around shortly afterwards and collected a sample from my tap and I had the results in my mailbox a few days later (no lead, yeehaw). I would call 311 and see what they can tell you, and/or if the building is multiunit, ask the other tenants if they had tests done.

Yeah for peace of mind I might send in a sample just to see. No one ever came to follow up on pipes in my building so I dont know about that one. Thanks for the information guys
