Hello,

I’m looking to buy some equipment from the US and need to find a customs brokerage. Has anyone imported any equipment in the past and used a brokerage that you would recommend? If so, could you provide me the contact details please?

Hi Fergus,

I’ve used both the Border Mail Depot / Kinek (Find a KinekPoint Result – Kinek) and Halfway House Freight Forwarding (https://www.hwhff.biz/) and had US purchases shipped to the border to pick them up and import them in person, if that’s what you’re looking to do. Gimme a bing if you need details!

Thanks Frank. I am looking for an actual customs broker, but I think I am sorted now. This company was recommended, and so far based on their answers to my questions, fit the bill: www.clearit.ca

I’ve used W2C a few times. You don’t have to go through the hassle of creating an account with them and they have a good price.
