GTA Brews is excited to announce that registration is now open for our ninth annual nation-wide homebrew competition for beer, mead, and cider: Brew Slam 2026 (#BrewSlam)!
#BrewSlam is Canada’s premier homebrew competition, with hundreds of entrants from Canada and the USA. We can’t wait to build on 2025’s massive success ( Brew Slam 2025 Results | GTA Brews ). That competition saw 482 entries from 129 entrants representing 7/10 provinces compete for over $19,000 in prizes, judged by 50 judges over just 3 days!
As of Sept 8th, we have already secured over $13,400 in prizes from our fabulous sponsors ( Sponsors, Awards, & Prizes – Brew Slam 2026 | GTA Brews ). We expect this will increase significantly over the next few weeks leading up to the competition. We also have a brand new medal design to present to the winners!
