Anyone know if submissions to brew competitions are stored at Room Temp or immediately refrigerated?
I’ve shipped some in the past that had not quite bottle conditioned long enough and did not receive any negative feedback, so I assumed they were kept out a while.
In our case for MALT, they all end up refrigerated. It would logistically be difficult to separate the ones that need to be sitting at room temp from the other ones.
It really depends on the competition and what storage space they have available. If possible, they will store them cold as soon as possible.
