2025 - KBC's 7th Anniversary

(I apologize for the promotional self-plug, but I hope people might be interested)

Tomorrow, Saturday April 26th, is the celebration of Kahnawake Brewing Company’s 7th Anniversary. As some of you may know it was founded by our former president Drew Stevens @Dr3wson and the brewers are now now all former club execs (Keegan Link and myself). I would love to invite you all out to come celebrate with us!

For the 7th year, we have 7 new beer releases that all have a fun twist.

  • A collab with Isle de Garde uses Franconian lager yeast brought all the way back from Franconia and rounds into a well balanced kellerbier with a healthy dose of Hersbrucker and Saphir hops.
  • A collab with Nano Cinco uses exclusively NZ T90 hops (Riwaka and Rakau) at a rate higher than I think I have ever put in a beer, but it still comes across super crushable and full of tropical fruit and citrus flavor
  • A collab with RahrBSG (Thank you @HoublonDon !) and some of our podcast influencer friends (BAOS, Vox&Hops, Beerism) uses Gambrinus’s new Mars malt and Omega Yeast’s Daybreak yeast to make a clear red IPA that punches with NZ hops like a hazy double IPA.
  • A collab with Boreale uses Escarpment Labs/Lallemand’s Pomona yeast and some knowledge dropped by their science to biotransform some crazy hops into a peach and tangerine bomb that has 8.7% abv but drinks like juice
  • A collab with Brewskey that pushes IPA so far it should not be allowed to exist. Cryo Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hop kief push white wine, citrus and dank that really makes it hard for me to believe it’s 10.7%… until I try to stand up.
  • From our own barrel stock, we have a fruited barrel-aged sour that to me tastes like a tart raspberry jam in glass.
  • To round out the 7, we also have our yearly release of our Hell’s Gate barleywine. It blends 6-month and 3-year old barrels of barleywine to make a super deep flavor palate of maple candies, caramel, toasted oak, and barrel vanilla. We have our fingers crossed that it will medal again this year.

Drew, Keegan and I will be there all day and we’d love to see you and geek out over some tasty beers that we’re super proud of!

If you read this late, don’t worry, we’re also there most days, but the beers will only last so long, so come soon!
